First Phase of Regional Park Opens

Anthem aims to build great spaces that residents are proud to call home. This vision is being brought to life by The City of Calgary who has planned a regional park in Cornerstone. This system of parks is designed to give residents a space where they can get outside together. Residents were engaged in the designing of the park to ensure their park meets their needs. Based on survey feedback received in 2023, our community wanted a family friendly, multigenerational, mix of activities and spaces to celebrate and throw events.

The first of three planned park areas, located at the end of 128th Avenue, is now complete! The features of this park include a hockey rink, basketball court, playground, fitness nodes and gathering areas. The Anthem development team was joined by Councilor Raj Dhaliwal from the City of Calgary on October 15 to celebrate the formal opening of this first park phase and tour all the new amenities of this area.

We look forward to serving our community and seeing the City develop the rest of this regional park in the future.
